KATHMANDU, Feb 8: Nepal is going to send relief materials and health workers to Turkey, which is devastated by multiple earthquakes.
The meeting of the National Council for Disaster Risk Reduction and Management held at the office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers on Wednesday afternoon decided to send essential materials and health workers to Turkey.
In the meeting, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal said that they should provide possible support since Turkey is a good friend of Nepal.
A 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit Turkey's Gaziantep province on Monday. Hundreds of aftershocks have since gone.
