Nepal-Ghana establish diplomatic relations

NEW YORK, Sept 26: Nepal and African country Ghana established formal diplomatic relations in New York on Thursday.

NEW YORK, Sept 26: Nepal and Ghana established formal diplomatic relations in New York on Thursday. 


Minister of Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, who is in New York to attend the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly, and Foreign Minister of Ghana Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey signed a joint communiqué to that effect.

Following the signing of the official document, the ministers viewed that Nepal and Ghana would develop a partnership to explore potentials for trade and tourism promotion.


With this, the number of countries with which Nepal has established diplomatic relations now reached 168.
