KATHMANDU, March 20: Nepal will play against India with hopes to clinch its first trophy in the SAFF Women Football Championship. So far, Nepal has entered four finals but faced defeat from India.
Nepal scored four goals against Sri Lanka to secure its place in the final game of the 5th SAFF Women Football Championship. Punam Jarghamagar, Anita Basnet, Sabitra Bhandari and Rekha Poudel scored a goal each for the team.

India defeated Bangladesh by four goals in the second semifinal game today. Neither Nepal nor India conceded a goal in their respective games.
