KATHMANDU, March 16: In the all-important match under the ICC World Cup League-2 triangular ODI series on Thursday, Nepal beat the UAE by nine runs according to Duckworth-Lewis-Stern method.
With this win, Nepal has made it to the ODI World Cup qualifiers.

The UAE had given Nepal a huge target of 311 runs to win the last match of the ICC Cricket World Cup League Two underway at TU Cricket Ground. However, Nepal won the match by Duckworth-Lewis-Stern method as the play was halted due to low visibility after the 44th over.
Earlier, in one-day international cricket, Nepal has won 10 out of the last 11 matches, while in one-day international matches played at the Tribhuwan Cricket Ground, Nepal.
