KATHMANDU, April 29: The top three generals in the Nepal Army – chief of army staff Rookmangud Katawal and Lt Gen Kul Bahadur Khadka and Lt Gen Chhatra Man Gurung – are about to issue a joint statement asking all rank and file not to be swayed by rumors of division in the Nepal Army.

The statement, to be issued by the Directorate of Public Relations, also asks the soldiers and officers to remain cautious about any rumors of division in the army’s top brass.
