KATHMANDU, Nov 2: Nepali sky has been overcast due to the cyclone Neelam that lashed Tamilnadu and Andhra Pradesh in India two days ago, the Meteorological Forecast Division said.

Nepali sky has not cleared after the storm in India on Wednesday and temperature has dipped. Although the sky is overcast, there is no possibility of rains for the time being, the Division said. [break]

Neelam and Sandy cyclones have lashed India, Sri Lanka, USA, and Haiti and have caused a large scale damages.

October and November are regarded as low rain months in Nepal. Senior Meteorologist Rajendra Shrestha said although frequent overcast sky was seen Thursday, its impact is weakening and the sky is clearing. He said there is no possibility of rains in a few days, and if it rains, the day time temperature could decrease.
