NEA starts campaign to collect tariff

NEPALGUNJ, July 1: A team of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) Officials of Nepalgunj Municipality started door to door campaign to collect the tariff.



The campaign was started after some government and non-government offices and industrial organizations made lingering to pay the dues since long, informed NEA.[break]



Chief Officer of the NEA Binod Upadhyay the team has collected around Rs. 7.2 million and cut the power connection of around 300 NEA customers, who continue lingering to pay electricity tariff.



The NEA branch has around Rs. 11.5 million dues to be collected from the government offices, non-government organizations, industries and business enterprises.
