NEA has denied any weaknesses on its part in the occurrence of the tragic incident which ended in the deaths of six people. Others six injured in the incident are being treated at the Janakpur Zonal Hospital. The current flowed to the bus as a tin can placed on the bus roof at the time touched a bare wire of 11 KV transmission line.

The transmission line has not come down; it is in the normal position, the NEA said. The can cause the incident as prior to this another bus of the same size just passed through the same route.
