NEA bags nine golds

KATHMANDU, July 5: Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) became the team champion in the First Inter-Enterprises Sports Tournament with nine gold, five silver and three bronze medals in its kitty on Sunday. Nepal Bank Limited came stood second with three gold, one silver and a bronze while Nepal Telecom finished third with two gold, two silver and seven bronze.



In the men´s volleyball final, NEA Red defeated NEA Blue 25-23, 25-19, 25-15. Likewise, in the clash for the third place, Janak Shiksha Samagri crushed Udaypur Cement Factory 25-16, 25-19, 25-18.



Minister for Youth and Sports Ganesh Tiwari Nepali handed over shields, medals and certificates to the winning teams and players.



The tournament was organized by Public Enterprises Sports Development Association, Nepal.
