KATHMANDU: The Cabinet meeting Wednesday decided to hold Nepal Development Forum meet in Nepal between March 26 and 28, 2009.
Also, Minister for Water Resource Bishnu Poudel presented a detailed plan to resolve the power crisis at the Cabinet meeting. The cabinet approved the plan and decided to call on the private sector to invest in power sector. The minister will make the plan public by tomorrow.
The meeting also decided to appoint Kedar Chandra Sharma as adviser to Ministry of Science and Technology. The meeting also decided to reactivate Environment Conservation Council after about eight years.
The Cabinet`s Bill Committee was asked to work on necessary legal arrangements to reactivate the Council.
