KATHMANDU, Oct 16: Nepali Congress (NC) and Nepal Democratic Forum (NDF) have formally unified, inking a 16-point deal on Monday.
Issuing a press release following the unification, NC and NDF expressed commitment to address the concerns, rights and demands being raised by Tharu, Madhesi, Adivasi-Janajatis, women, Dalit, Muslim and those marginalized.

“This unification is a must to consolidate the democratic foundation of the constitution at a time when the politics is being headed toward the totalitarian,” the parties said in the agreement.
Meanwhile, both the parties have also expressed to adjust the organizational structures of their parties from central to provincial, and district to local levels including the sister organizations.
