NCP remains intact: Minister Gurung

DOLAKHA, Dec 19: Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Parbat Gurung said that the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) would not split though it has reached a critical juncture.

DOLAKHA, Dec 19: Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Parbat Gurung said that the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) would not split though it has reached a critical juncture. 



Speaking at a program organized in his home town Charikot on Saturday morning, Minister Gurung said, "The party is at a critical mode, but it should not be split and we won’t let it happen so.’’ He expressed confidence that the top leaders in the party would keep the party intact for the stability and prosperity of the country. Gurung went on to say that he was ready to sacrifice anything for the integrity of the party.

The program was organized to pay tribute to NCP's district committee member and Shailung Rural Municipality-7 Ward Chair, Prem Lama who died on Wednesday. 


Meanwhile, the Minister laid the foundation stone of a stadium at Tundikhel of Bhimeshwor Municipality today itself. He also launched the ‘Bhimeshwor Town Greater Project’ prepared by the local government. The Minister who is on the three-day visit is scheduled to inspect the Upper Tamakoshi Hydro Power Project.
