KATHMANDU, March 26: Telecom operator Ncell has reduced call rate to 30 countries. Issuing a press release, Ncell said all its customers can now make calls to 30 countries at local rate.


As per the newly launched scheme, customers can now make calls to the 30 destinations at only Rs 1.99 per minute, excluding taxes.

According to Ncell, the offer has come into effect from Monday for the period of 15 days. The scheme is applicable for countries including India, China, USA, UK, Canada, Hong Kong, Germany, Singapore, Sweden and New Zealand, among others. Currently, call rate to the 30 destinations ranges from Rs 1.99 to Rs 48.99 per minute.


Customers need to activate the service to take benefit from the offer by dialing *17107# or by typing A and sending SMS to 17107.


“It enables our customers to make international calls at more affordable rate and stay connected with friends and family members living in different corners of the world,” said Milan Sharma, corporate communications expert of Ncell.
