NC won’t obstruct House, says Deuba

KATHMANDU, Nov 8: Nepali Congress (NC) senior leader and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba on Sunday said his party won’t obstruct proceedings at Legislature-Parliament.

Talking to Republica after NC Parliamentary Party meeting he said, “NC will play a role of responsible opposition.  It won’t obstruct House.”

The view from a senior leader of the main opposition party came at a time when agitating United Democratic Madheshi Front (UDMF) has said it will obstruct parliament meeting on Sunday.
   
Meanwhile, the meeting of parliament summoned for 11 am this morning has failed to start. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal have already arrived at the parliament building.
