NC wins in Chingad Rural Municipality in Surkhet

SURKHET, May 17: Nepali Congress (NC) has won the race for chief and deputy chief of Chingad Rural Municipality in Surkhet.

SURKHET, May 17: Nepali Congress (NC) has won the race for chief and deputy chief of Chingad Rural Municipality in Surkhet.

NC candidate for chief of Chingad rural Municipality Deb Bahadur Chand has won the election with 2949 votes defeating his closest rival UML candidate Bakhat Khatri who secured 2389 votes.


Likewise, NC candidate Man Maya Acharya has won the race for deputy chief of Chingad Rural Municipality with 2917 votes, compared to 2417 votes garnered by her closest rival UML candidate Deepa Rana.
