NC candidate Chand elected Chingad Rural Municipality chief

SURKHET, May 17: Nepali Congress candidate Dev Bahadur Chand has been elected as chief of Chingad Rural Municipality.

SURKHET, May 17: Nepali Congress candidate Dev Bahadur Chand has been elected as chief of Chingad Rural Municipality.



He has secured 2, 949 votes. His closest rival of CPN-UML Bhakhat Bahadur Khatri got 2, 385 votes.

For the post of deputy chief, NC candidate Manmaya Acharya has been elected with  2, 877 votes while  her closet  rival  Dipa Kumari Rana of UML got 2, 414 votes.
