NC to support JSP in by-election in Bara-2

KATHMANDU, March 26: The Nepali Congress (NC) is going to support the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP)  in the by-election in Bara-2 on April 23.

KATHMANDU, March 26: The Nepali Congress (NC) is going to support the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP)  in the by-election in Bara-2 on April 23.


An official said that in the official meeting held on Saturday, President Sher Bahadur Deuba promised to support the JSP in Bara-2.

After Ramsahay Prasad Yadav, who was elected to the House of Representatives from Bara-2, was elected as the vice president of the country, there is a vacancy in the House of Representatives.


In Chitwan-2 and Tanahun-1 where also the by-elections will be held, an official said that the NC will decide the candidates on Monday. Earlier in Chitwan-2, Umesh Shrestha of NC was defeated by Rabi Lamichhane of Rastriya Swatantra Party and in Tanahun-1 Ramchandra Poudel was elected from NC.
