KATHMANDU, May 8: The main opposition party, Nepali Congress (NC), is scheduled to hold its parliamentary party meeting later today.
The meeting is expected to focus on the party's preparation for the Special House Session summoned for May 10 and strategies to foil the attempt of Prime Minister Oli to secure a vote of confidence from parliament.

The meeting is scheduled to be held at 2 PM this afternoon at Lohste Hall in the federal parliament building.
President Bidya Devi Bhandari summoned the Special Session of the federal parliament for May 10 at the recommendation of Prime Minister K P Oli. Prime Minister Oli has announced to seek a vote of confidence in the upcoming house session.
NC has already decided to foil PM Oli's bid to secure the vote of confidence.
