KATHMANDU, April 14: The meeting of the Nepali Congress (NC) Parliamentary Party is underway. The meeting has been convened at 8AM in the Lhotse Hall of Parliament House in New Baneshwar.

It is said that the meeting is discussing issues such as the government's recommendation to conclude the current session of Parliament.

The meeting of the Council of Ministers held last Friday decided to recommend to President Ram Chandra Paudel to end the current session of the Parliament from 12 midnight on April 14.

The meeting of the House of Representatives is called at 11AM on April 14.

The winter session of Parliament started on February 5. Meanwhile, the Federal Parliament has approved only three bills.

During the 22 sittings of the House of Representatives and 20 sittings of the National Assembly, only the bill to make arrangements for monitoring and evaluation, the bill to amend some laws related to prevention of money laundering and the promotion of business environment, and the food hygiene and quality bill were approved.
