KATHMANDU, July 14: The Shekhar Koirala-Gagan Thapa faction of the Nepali Congress (NC) has demanded four ministers be selected from their faction. A meeting was held at Koirala’s office in Bishalnagar in which it was decided that the faction would demand a share of at least four ministers in the coalition government.
According to NC leader Arjun Narasingha KC, who participated in the meeting, the faction will demand four ministers to be selected by Shekhar Koirala, Gagan Thapa and Dhanraj Gurung.

In the meeting, along with Shekhar Koirala, Gagan Thapa and Dhanraj Gurung, leaders such as Badri Pandey, Jiwan Pariyar, Arjun Narasingha KC, Bal Bahadur KC, Dilendra Badu, Dr Minendra Rijal and Dr Chandra Bhandari also participated.
