NC’s Masina Khadka elected

Sindhupalchowk, Nov 23: Masina Khadka Bhandari of the Nepali Congress (NC) has been elected from Province Assembly 1 (a) of Sindhupalchowk.
She was elected by defeating UML candidate Yudhvikram Tamang. She defeated Tamang by a margin of 1,062 votes.
Bhandari got 14,652 votes while UML's Tamang got only 13,490 votes.
In this provincial assembly constituency, 33,845 votes were cast, while 32,263 votes were valid and 1,582 votes were invalid.
