NC's election campaign kicks off in Manang

MANANG, March 12: Nepali Congress (NC) has kicked off its election campaign in the trans-Himalayan district, Manang. 


NC Manang began the election campaign 'Visit the doorsteps to make Congress victorious' on Friday.

Inaugurating the campaign, NC central member Ganesh Lama called for party leaders and cadres to get united to make NC a winner in upcoming elections. "Let us all bury the hatchets to win upcoming elections". Lama said, adding, "We should manage our grievances within the party to move ahead with a unison". 


NC Manang President Shanker Gurung stressed the need to intensify party engagement in villages as part of the election campaign. "We are focused on villages for the election campaign. People are excited and are hopeful of good governance through new leadership," he further said. 


Also speaking on the occasion, NC leaders Tek Bahadur Gurung, Palten Gurung, Komal Bahadur Ghale, and Karma Gurung underlined the need to accept party decisions and intensify door to door campaigns to make NC victorious in the upcoming elections.
