Speaking at a press conference organized by Nepal Press Union, at Ilam, Koirala said, “New government should be formed under NC’s leadership as it is impossible to reach consensus under the leadership of other parties.”
However, Koirala denied that NC is in a race of power struggle.
On the occasion, Koirala also termed the UCPN (Maoist) as a main obstacle of the consensus. Koirala further blamed that Maoists are responsible for the existing political impasse in the country as they don’t want consensus.
