He was admitted at the hospital a week ago after he complained of chest infection.
Doctors have suggested him to take one week of rest, said Laxman Dhakal, personal secretary of Koirala.
Dr. Karbir Nath Yogi, who attended the Congress President during the course of treatment, said Koirala has been advised to talk less and take complete rest.
