KATHMANDU, June 14: Nepali Congress (NC) President and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has flown to Singapore for medical treatment. His wife, Arju Rana Deuba, has accompanied him to Singapore.

Deuba’s Personal Secretariat informed Republica that he departed for Singapore via Singapore Airlines at around 12 noon.

President Deuba had undergone treatment in Singapore a few years ago after experiencing health issues in his stomach. The secretariat said that he is now required to visit Singapore for follow-up treatment every two years, but now Deuba has only gone for check-up after 3 years.

His Secretariat said Deuba could not undergo regular health follow-up earlier as he was occupied with various elections and party conventions, which is why he couldn't undergo
