NC presidents of 14 districts demand to reconsider name of Koshi Province

BIRATNAGAR, May 31: The presidents of all 14 districts of Koshi province chapter of Nepali Congress have demanded to reconsider the name Koshi of Province 1.

The presidents of all 14 districts of Koshi province issued a joint statement on Wednesday and demanded a reconsideration of the name Koshi of Province 1.

It is mentioned in the statement that the people of Province 1 started protesting against the naming of the province as Koshi, and the protestors have demanded the removal of the name Koshi.

The presidents of the district chapters of NC have also asked the pro-identity agitators to organize the protest programs in a moderate and peaceful manner.
