BIRATNAGAR, May 31: The presidents of all 14 districts of Koshi province chapter of Nepali Congress have demanded to reconsider the name Koshi of Province 1.

DHARAN, Sept 2: The agitators at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS), Dharan, have announced to quit work except emergency and COVID ward services from Sunday.

JHAPA, Oct 27: A person was killed while 10 others sustained injuries as police opened fire on the agitators in Birtamod on Thursday afternoon.

The District Administration Office, Jhapa has imposed a curfew in Birtamod in Jhapa district from 1:30 pm today until the further notice. The curfew was imposed in the wake of a clash ensued between the locals organizing a peaceful rally and the security personnel today itself.
