SOLUKHUMBU, Feb 5: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba on Saturday has assured to carry out investigation into the incident regarding the convention of NC Solukhumbu district committee that had reportedly concluded a year ago.
Deuba's statement came in response to a relay-hunger strike being staged by some disgruntled members at NC party central office in Sanepa for the past 20 days. The dissatisfied section has been demanding the announcement of the date to hold convention of the NC district committee.

Deuba on Saturday visited the site where the strike has been held, met with the protestors and assured them of an investigation into the incident, said NC Solukhumbu leader Chandra Acharya, also a protestor.
The camp of NC central member Bal Bahadur KC has been accused of unilaterally postponing the NC district convention last year. RSS
