KATHMANDU, Jan 23: Central Working Committee meeting of the Nepal Congress taking place on Thursday would hold a discussion on various issues including about its sister organization Nepal Student Union, the party’s statute passed by Mahasamiti meeting and other contemporary issues.
The CWC meeting of the NC is taking place at the Party headquarters, Sanepa at 11:00 am. The term of the central working committee of the NSU has been terminated on January 16.
No NSU membership to those above 32 years
The discussion was underway in the party whether to form new ad hoc central committee of the NSU or to give responsibility to the incumbent working committee to hold general convention.
Out of 165-member working committee, 52 office-bearers and one member have resigned from the posts, said NSU leader Prem Joshi.
