KATHMANDU, Jan 9: Nepali Congress (NC) leader Dr Shekhar Koirala has departed for the UK to attend the program set for January 13 at the Westminster Parliament.

The Nepali Congress and the UK's Labour Party have maintained a relationship since BP Koirala's time, strengthening the bond between Nepal and the UK. During his visit, Dr Koirala will meet and engage in discussions with Labour Party ministers, members of parliament, and opposition leaders.
