NC directs party lawmakers not to give vote of confidence to PM Dahal

KATHMANDU, March 11: The main opposition Nepali Congress (NC) has issued a directive (whip) to its lawmakers not to grant a vote of confidence to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, who broke alliance with NC last week.

KATHMANDU, March 11: The main opposition Nepali Congress (NC) has issued a directive (whip) to its lawmakers not to grant a vote of confidence to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, who broke alliance with NC last week.

NC Chief Whip Ramesh Lekhak issued the directive on Monday, directing party MPs to oppose the motion of trust.


PM Dahal is scheduled to take a vote of confidence on March 13. PM Dahal has forged alliance with CPN-UML, CPN (Unified Socialist), Rastriya Swatantra Party and Janata Samajbadi Party to secure majority votes in parliament.
