KATHMANDU, July 26: The Nepali Congress (NC) has decided not to participate in the Koshi Province government immediately.
The parliamentary party leader of the NC, Uddhav Thapa, said that NC cannot immediately participate in the government due to unresolved issues such as power-sharing deal, ministerial appointment, by the central leadership.

On the other hand, the CPN (Maoist Center) ministers in the Koshi Province government have already resigned. However, Thapa said that even if the Maoist Center has quit the government, NC will not participate in the Koshi government until the central leaders resolve all issues.
To prevent disputes in Koshi similar to those in other provinces, Thapa said that the NC will not rush to join the government. He said that discussions regarding participation in the Koshi government are ongoing at the central level, and there is a possibility that all issues will be resolved soon.
