NC, CPN (MC) form working alliance for elections in Dolakha

KATHMANDU, April 30: Nepali Congress (NC) and CPN (Maoist Center) have formed a working alliance for local-level elections slated for May 14 in Dolakha district on Sunday.

KATHMANDU, April 30: Nepali Congress (NC) and CPN (Maoist Center) have formed a working alliance for local-level elections slated for May 14 in Dolakha district on Sunday.



Issuing a press release, the parties said, “NC and CPN (Maoist Center) have formed a joint panel to participate in the elections for the prosperity, development and growth of Dolakha district.”


Devi Khadka, in-charge of CPN (Maoist Center), Dolakha and Rudra Bahadur Khadka, President of NC, Dolakha have undersigned deal on the working alliance.

Meanwhile, the parties have urged the other fringe parties active in the district to join the alliance and appealed to the voters to vote for the joint panel.


Similarly, NC and CPN (Maoist Center) have also directed respective committees in the district to make preparations for the elections accordingly.
