NBA selects players for KL championship

KATHMANDU, June 19: The Nepal Badminton Association (NBA) has selected four players and a coach for the U-19 Asian Badminton Championship to be held at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from July 12-19.



Sajan Krishna Tamrakar, Ratnajit Tamang, Bhugol Tamang and Bivek Shrestha were selected from a tournament held at the covered hall of Dasharath Stadium on Thursday and Friday among seven contenders from different districts. Kiran Thapa has been selected as coach.



The selected players will train for four hours a day at Dasharath Stadium between June 25 and July 10, informed general secretary of the NBA Ramji Bahadur Shrestha.

Badminton players selected
