NBA objects to CJ-led govt

KATHMANDU, Feb. 13: The Nepal Bar Association (NBA) has objected to the public statements over the formation of an electoral government under the leadership of chief justice (CJ).



The first meeting of the newly elected working committee of NBA held today has said that its serious attention has been drawn towards such statement and added that there can be no difference of opinion on adopting the principles of power separation and constitutionalism.



The statement issued by newly elected General Secretary Sunil Kumar Pokhrel has also drawn the attention of all political parties and leaders not to neglect the principle of constitutionalism and constitutional arrangement that no one person can head three powers of the state.
