However, the official announcement will be made during the joint press meet to be held at City Hall at 5 PM this evening. It has been learned that leaders of three parties are finalizing the agreement paper at parliamentary party office of CPN-UML at Singh Durbar. During the press meet, UML chair KP Sharma Oli, MC chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Naya Shakti coordinator Babu Ram Bhattarai will sign in a seven-point agreement paper.
According to a source, Bhattrai will contest the upcoming elections with ‘sun’ symbol. It is learned that the parties are also preparing to make public a declaration paper although UML and MC will not share a common election symbol. Similarly, the parties have agreed to form a joint committee to facilitate the parties for the unification after the elections.
