DHARAN, Sept 17: A two-day photo exhibition organized on the occasion of Children’s Day concluded on Friday.



As per the organizer, over 3,000 attended the photo exhibition held in Chhata Chowk. The exhibition was organized in association with Rotary Club and Rotract Club of Dharan. Saujan Shrestha, a photographer of Dharan, stated that the exhibition aimed at motivating local photographers and providing recognition to many other photographers.

He added that a large number of visitors attended the exhibition as it was held openly on the walls of an old hospital located in Chhata Chowk. “The first day of the exhibition gathered more than 1,500 visitors,” added Shrestha.


The exhibit featured three themes including Nature and Wildlife, Culture and Tourism, and Life and Portrait. As per the organizer, more than 86 photographs by more than three dozen photographers were on display. “Photographers from Pokhara, Ramechhap, Kathmandu, Singapore and America had their photographs on display,” informed Shrestha.
