NATTA team off to Spain for International Tourism Fair

More than 50 representatives from over 25 travel, trekking and hotel businesses of Nepal will participate in the fair, said Dhaknath Kafle, joint-treasurer and programme coordinator of NATTA.

KATHMANDU, Jan 20: A team of Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA) has left for Spain to participate in the International Tourism Fair. 


The team led by NATTA chair Kumar Mani Thapaliya left for Spain this morning to participate in the International Travel Trade Fair to be held in Madrid, Spain, from January 22 to 26 in collaboration with the Nepal Tourism Board.

More than 50 representatives from over 25 travel, trekking and hotel businesses of Nepal will participate in the fair, said Dhaknath Kafle, joint-treasurer and programme coordinator of NATTA. 


Chair Thapaliya maintained that such fairs will promote Nepal's tourism across the globe. He said that continuous participation in such programmes is necessary for the sustainable development of the tourism sector in Nepal. He further said, “Such fairs are important to strengthen economic activities by publicizing Nepal's attractive destinations and tourism resources at the global level.”


According to NATTA, more than 100,000 tourism industry, businessmen, representatives and business partners from across the world will be present at the international fair to be held in Spain.
