KATHMANDU, Sept 3: The Red Bull National League football tournament will resume from September 14. According to the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA), the executive committee meeting of the football governing body has approved nine teams to resume the event from September 14.
The league was halted after the April 25 earthquake. The latest setback was the protests in the Tarai, due to which it could not resume on Friday.

"The ANFA had to postpone the league scheduled to start from Friday due to the fragile political situation in the western and far-western parts of the country," reads a bulletin of ANFA.
The league, which will be held in home-and-away format will continue to operate in the same way. But it could be centralized depending upon the political situation of the country. According to ANFA, the district based clubs have agreed to play all matches in central venue (Kathmandu) if the situation gets unfavorable in the Tarai.
