The board is also honoring best performing small entrepreneurs on the sidelines of the event.[break]
Speaking at a press meet in the capital on Tuesday, Nabin Kumar Jha, executive director of CSIDB, said the exhibition is being organized every year for market promotion of goods produced by local small scale industries.
According to the organizers, the expo will feature 300 stalls of which 150 will be used by entrepreneurs of Kathmandu district. Remaining stalls have been booked by entrepreneurs from other districts.
The expo will showcase goods under 13 different groups. Products like Dhaka, allo and natural products, leather goods, handicrafts, food items, organic products, herbs, handmade papers and woolen goods, among others will be showcased at the expo.
The organizers will award 15 entrepreneurs - one best entrepreneur each from 13 groups, a woman entrepreneur and a micro entrepreneur -- on the sidelines of the event.
The organizers are expecting total footfall of 100,000 and transaction of Rs 50 million during the expo.
