KATHMANDU, June 10: The National Assembly (NA) is likely to approve its regulation. The approval will complete the process to form 16 parliamentary committees in the federal parliament. Two days ago, the House of Representatives had endorsed its regulations.
The regulation which will be tabled for voting today is likely to be endorsed unanimously. On Friday, the HoR had approved its regulations, paving the way for the formation of 10 thematic committees. The 10 thematic committees include finance, international relations, law, justice and human rights, women and social development, technical education and health, state affairs and good governance, public accounts, industry and commerce, labor and consumer welfare and agriculture, micro-finance and natural resources.
