KATHMANDU, July 14: The meeting of the National Assembly on Friday passed the Finance Bill, 2080 BS.
During the meeting, Finance Minister Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat presented a proposal to return the Bill, which was received from the House of Representatives (HoR) with suggestions, to the HoR passing it without any amendments. The NA passed the Finance Minister's proposal with majority.

The proposal of a few NA members to increase tax on tobacco related products was rejected.
