Nation takes positive turn: Nembang

ILAM, Nov 2: Constituent Assembly (CA) Chairman Subash Nembang said the nation will take a positive turn now as the political parties made consensus to forward the disrupted peace process.



"The agreement signed by the three major parties will lead the nation towards progress," said Chairman Nembang. [break]



Inaugurating a national workshop on ´green city´ organised by Ilam Municipality, on Wednesday, he said the nation will be benefited if the government could develop the municipality as a conservation area as it was suitable for making a green city.



He said the government has been preparing for declaring Maipokhari and Sandakpur area as the conservation areas.



Similarly, US Ambassador Scott H. DeLisi also expressed his commitment that the US government will provide possible support for the implementation of the green city project.



He added that development of the district was possible as it was full of natural beauty.
