DOTI, April 18: Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Ramesh Lekhak has warned of the risk of conflict in the country due to two kinds of extremism.
In a press meet here today, Minister Lekhak who is also the leader of ruling Nepali Congress, said that one extremist has blamed Tarai dwellers as the foes of the nation while the other side has charged the same to the hill dwellers.

He further urged all to be aware of such extremist mentality adding that his party was in a campaign of lessening such extremist feelings.
Minister Lekhak added that the NC was playing a role to make the constitution acceptable to all. He further shared that the local poll slated for May 14 will not be postponed at any cost; however, the date could be postponed for few days in some districts if Tarai centric Parties assured of their participation in the election.
