The accident took place when a truck hit Karki near the Siddhartha Vanasthali Institute at 5: 00 am. Police said Karki died while receiving treatment at Balaju based Janamaitri Hospital.[break]
According to Police Inspector at the Metropolitan Police Range Ramesh Shrestha, police have arrested the truck driver and impounded the truck.
Junior officer of the Nepal Army Karki was serving at Swayambhu based Barudkhana (Nepal Army Explosive Factory). His body has been kept at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital for postmortem.
