Nagarik Unmukti Party expels Surendra Chaudhary

KATHMANDU, April 9: Nagarik Unmukti Party (NUP) has said that it has taken action against its party leader Surendra Chaudhary for acting against the party's interests.

Gangaram Chaudhary, the chief whip of the party, said that the leader Surendra Chaudhary will not remain even an ordinary member of the party as he has acted against the interests of the party.

Surendra Chaudhary from NUP became a candidate from Dang-1 in the federal election. It is said that Surendra Chaudhary, who has been critical about NUP since the beginning, has given information through the social network Facebook that he has left the party.
