TIKAPUR, Nov 23: The candidate of the ruling coalition has taken the lead, leaving behind Nagarik Unmukti Party candidate in Kailali Constituency 2. A total of 14,223 votes have been counted so far. Bhagat Baduwal of CPN (Maoist Center) is ahead of Arun Chaudhary of the Nagarik Unmukti Party by 167 votes.
According to the Election Office, Baduwal got 4,691 votes while Chaudhary got 4,524 votes. Baduwal has overtaken Chaudhary's initial lead.
So far, the votes of Janaki Rural Municipality have been counted. Votes of Lamkichuha Municipality, Bardagoria Rural Municipality and Mohanyal Rural Municipality-7 are yet to be counted.
