KATHMANDU, Dec 29: Tamu Sancharkarmi Sangh Nepal, the organization of journalists working to promote the culture of Gurung community has felicitated Nagarik scribe Upendra Lamichhane for his continuous effort in covering the festivals and culture of the community.

Organizing a program in the Capital on Monday, the organization awarded Rs 10,000 each to two journalists--Lamichhane and another journalist, Chunaw Bahadur Gurung. Former chief of the Nepalese Army Chhatra Man Singh Gurung and his wife Kamala Gurung jointly felicitated the journalist duo on the day.
