KATHMANDU, June 5: Prashant Lamichhane, coordinator of nagariknews.com (digital version of Nagarik daily) was honored with the Baba Ananda Sanchar Award-2018 for his extensive coverage on Fewa Lake encroachment.
A meeting of Baba Ananda Sanchar Award jury held on May 9, 2018, picked Lamichhane as the winner for the contribution on the environment sector. Journalist Lamichhane has been actively writing on various issues including environemnt since the last 10 years.

Lamichhane, who originally hails from Kushma municipality in Parbat district, started his career as a journalist from Rastriya Swabhimaan Saptahik
