NAC releases money to purchase aircraft

KATHMANDU, April 22: The Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has released 500,000 US dollars as commitment fee to purchase an aircraft from the Airbus Company.



The amount was dispatched on Monday as per an agreement reached on April 5 between the NAC and Airbus to purchase two ´narrow-body´ aircraft from the Company



As per the agreement, the Company will deliver the two aircraft in early 2015, according to a statement released by the NAC here today.
